Zaida's mouth stood slightly agape at what she had heard. She had to admit, she did feel sympathetic toward him. Sleeping in unfamiliar houses was something she could never imagine doing especially if you get caught. Then she heard his stomach growl. He probably hasn't eaten either. she thought closing her mouth and averting her eyes.
Leaving someone out like this would be just ruthless, inconsiderate, and ignorant. Zaida knew she had to help him. "You know, we do have plenty of empty rooms at the castle used if we have guests or visitors. So, you can stay there for as long as you would like. No one would mind, and you would be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well. As for my relatives... I'll make sure they do not bother you." she said looking back a him. As a matter of fact, she didn't mind at all.

Ana shrugged. He had done much worse than a castle. Much worse. He figured that if the royal snobs really did get out of his way, it just might be worth it. "I'll stay, but not very long. I wouldn't want to use up your hospitality too fast." Ana said, a smirk at the last statement. He wasn't kidding either. Whenever people did let him into their home volunterially, it wasn't very long before he was given the boot.
Then one thing Ana wondered about was where they were going. The only castle he knew in the area was the one where the royal family of Zalia lived. If there was another one in the area, then where could it be? He decided to voice his concerns to Zadia, in as nice a tone as he could pull off. "So where exactly are we going?"

"Back to my castle. I know that it's a while away, but I don't walk here. That would take entirely too long." she said thinking about having to ride various boats and carriages just to get back to the island the castle was on. There was only one way to get there quickly, and she was okay with it, but she wasn't sure he would be.
"Um, are you okay with...teleporting there?" Zaida asked uncertainly. Some people were okay with magic and others weren't, so she just wanted to ask.

"I can't see why not?" Ana said, even though he wasn't sure how the whole 'teleporting' thing worked. How hypocritical of me. he thought. Although he hated magic, it wasn't so bad when it was being used for him, and not against. Needless to say, morals didn't rank high on Ana's To-do list.
Ana's thoughts wandered to the life in a castle. He had never been in one for very long, only when he felt bored and wanted to climb something. Other than that, he had no idea of what to expect. Not very much, of course. He was at the lower end of society. Check that, he WAS the lower end of society. It may have been nothing, but Ana had a feeling that Zaida's father, the king, wouldn't agree with her decision to let him stay with them.

Relief washed over Zaida when she heard his answer, and she relaxed a little. Restraint was not good when using magic. it only made things harder and more difficult to do. "Alright then. Just let me get everything set up." she said removing some chalk from her bag she had hanging from her body.
She bent down and drew a large circle on the ground with the chalk. Next, she drew various symbols within the circle that were needed for the procedure. Once she was done, she then pulled out a metallic looking dust and sprinkled it inside the circle as well.
"Okay, I'm done." she said standing back up, "all we have to do is step inside the circle then I'll do the rest. It may feel strange since you may not be used to it." She then stepped inside the circle.

Ana stepped towards the circle. For a few seconds beforehand, he was having an inward battle. This was a person that he had never met before, and who claimed to be a princess. Even though there wasn't anyone else around, no one lied about that. Ever. But her reasons for wanting him to teleport were suspicious. Good samaritan or not, that girl had caught him breaking the law. For all he knew, she could be teleporting him to the castle only to be caught by the guards.
Eventually, Ana's rational side won the debate. Even prison was better than living off the streets, or he hoped so. Plus, she seemed like an honest girl, and she could have just let him go with the guards if she wanted him to be reprimanded for his crime. So, after the debate came to a close in his head, Ana stepped into the circle.

"Great. We should end up in the main corridor of the castle or one of the rooms leading from it." she said. She took a deep breath clearing her mind in order for the magic to flow smoothly. The outer ring of the circle glowed a bright blue, and the symbols within it followed suit. Alright. Here I go. she thought taking her final breath and closing her eyes. The dust started to stir and move due to the energy, and the light began to become brighter.

Ana nodded, and his thoughts drifted back to what the king would think. This couldn't be normal, his daughter picking up a beggar off the street and taking him back to the castle as a guest; It was probably unheard of. That gave Ana a great sense of security about his position. The king would probably get mad, then send him out of the castle...and the surrounding lands...and nothing good would come of it
Mixed in with that fear was the fear of something happening with the teleportation process. Magic was never an exact science, and the tiniest thing would affect the final outcome substantially. A little break in the circle and you end up 100 kilometers from the destination. But, it was to late to say anything now as he felt a tingling sensation in his body that ment that it was starting.
