Every person can shift into one animal form. There are a few rare cases were an individual may have two forms, but the chances of this are one in several thousand. Though there are shapeshifters of many different sorts, there are four main types found in these four countries:
-In the Veren Empire, the shifters are predominately Bears.
-In Aletia, the shifters are mainly Canines.
-In Zalia, most of the shifters are Felines.
-In Ilyx, many shifters are either Reptiles, or birds.
In addition to being able to shift, many shifters have the potential to learn magic and train as witches, wizards, mages, and the like, but few do.
